Higher Resolutions

This year my new  year’s resolutions are:

  • Continue to eat right & exercise. I would say “lose x pounds” but since we’d also like to have a baby this one could get blown out of the water faster than you can say “the plus means you’re pregnant.”
  • Earn more, spend less. I know. It makes me want to cry too.
  • Take Spotted Owl Soap from a hobby to a business.

Toby has no resolutions other than to continue what he’s doing.

Robbie’s new year’s resolutions are:

  • Learn to read
  • Learn to ride without training wheels
  • Learn to use a pogo stick

You tell me who’s going to have more fun in 2010?

I like the resolutions where we try to continue something … show’s we didn’t do too bad at sticking to it in the prior year!

p.s. I hope you have a baby! I love living vicariously through your life! :-)

I think I need to add ‘Pogo Sticking’ to my list of resolutions…

That depends. Maybe you & Toby (trying to have a baby). Or maybe Robbie (riding the bike with no training wheels). Depends on how you look at it.

I hope you guys have a baby too. You guys are the only ones who could add any more babies to the family. Plus, you guys deserve it. You and Toby are great parents.

I’m going to start calling you “Hobby Holly”, it just isn’t fair that you are so GOOD at so many hobbies (that turn into money makers). I’m excited for you to make your soap making a business.

I think you’ve got great chances with spotted owl…if I can be a sounding block, or offer any insight from a marketing point of view, you know where to find me. I’m going to keep it at that since my new years resolution is to cut back on the unsolicited advice :-)

For Robbie…..Learning to read….that’s an ambitious one. I wish Kev were a bit further along, but my litte guy seems to be all about the math. Loves adding, subtracting, writing numbers…..words, way less so. The pogo stick is a great one. Kev wants to ice skate without help and learn how to bowl without the bumpers.

I really hope for you (all) that 2010 is a great year, and that the things you want to happen do, if anyone can make it happen, I’d put my money on your family!

oh, when Robbie learns to use a pogo stick, can he come teach me? i’ve always wanted to learn!
